About the Editors

Donna Gibbs is an Associate Professor in the School of Education at Macquarie University, Sydney. She has taught widely in schools and was an Inspector of English and Chief Education Officer for the NSW Board of Studies from 1990 to 1995. Her publications are in the fields of Renaissance studies, curriculum in national and international contexts, and more recently the impact on teaching and learning of information communications technologies. Her most recent book, co-authored with Kerry-Ann O’Sullivan, is FilmStarts: Approaches to film study.

Kerri-Lee Krause is a Senior Lecturer and policy researcher in the Centre for the Study of Higher Education, University of Melbourne. She has extensive teaching experience in secondary and higher education. Her primary research focus is the nature of the changing student experience in higher education. She has a particular interest in the role information and communications technologies play in student engagement in higher education settings.
